Goldregen is a tall, spreading pleached rose with large blooms (10–13 cm) shaped like hybrid tea roses. The blooms are borne upright, do not droop, and open to reveal the stamens (flowers are only slightly terry). They are deep yellow, fading to lemon, with a strong fruity fragrance. It reblooms repeatedly.
