Flowers of old-fashioned form, quartered, cup-shaped, with delicate apricot tones and a scent reminiscent of freshly squeezed lemons.
The antique-shaped blooms range from rich creamy yellow to amber, are well flattened with recurved outer petals, bowl-like, and contain 41 or more (up to 100) petals. The average bloom diameter is about 10 cm, appearing singly or in clusters, with a strong fragrance of anise, peach, citrus, clove, and violet. Foliage is dark, glossy, and large. The shrub is vigorous, well-branched, up to 150 cm tall.
The variety tolerates heat. Highly disease resistant. Suitable for mass plantings and hedges. Suitable for training as a standard.
