More information
Golden Medallion blooms present at every stage: long, pointed buds unfold into terry flowers with many petals and slightly undulate margins. The color is not golden but a rich creamy yellow, deeper at the base of the bloom and paler toward the edges, then gently lightening to lemon yellow over time. Flowers appear singly or in small clusters (usually no more than seven) and continue well into autumn. This rose has a strong fragrance and dark green, glossy foliage. The shrub has a typical growth habit overall, and the blooms hold up as cut flowers.
