More information

Flowers amber-yellow with a pink flush on the petal edges, cup-shaped, large (11–12 cm), very double (50–51 petals), and fragrant. Bushes are medium-sized, sparsely prickled. Leaves are dark, glossy.

A large-flowered climbing sport of the cultivar Golden Dawn, which has been used as a parent in numerous breeding experiments. The climbing sport, Golden Dawn, Cl., does not differ from the hybrid tea form except for more vigorous growth. Blooms on current-season shoots; for abundant flowering along the entire length of the canes, winter protection is required. Main flowering occurs in late spring to early summer.
