More information
Strongly branching shrub. Young shoots are reddish. Foliage is small, glossy, and dense; initially dark green with a burgundy tint, then it lightens. Shoots carry abundant small prickles. Buds are apricot-colored; in cooler weather the hue shifts to brighter amber. Flowers are moderately double, with boat-shaped petals. At full bloom, flowers are light yellow; in sun they fade to cream. In the evening, open blooms slightly lift the petals, covering the center. Bush size is slightly larger than stated by the manufacturer. Overall habit resembles a varietal rosehip more than a floribunda. Suitable for a natural-style garden.
