More information

Rosa 'Gentiliana' is a Hybrid Multiflora / species rose with white or white blend flowers. It has a strong fragrance and blooms once in spring or summer. Plants can reach up to about 610 cm in height and 305 cm in width. It is suitable for USDA zones 6b through 9b. The rose was discovered by an unknown person in 1888. The species has been historically confused in commerce with 'Polyantha Grandiflora'. The description by Rehder and E.H. Wilson, based on limited material, was later shown to be incorrect, and some material has been assigned to Rosa henryi. This rose sets hips.
