Deep pink with lilac shading. Strong fragrance. Large, full, rounded flowers. Once-blooming.
Height 120–150 cm. Width 120–130 cm. Bluish foliage. Mild prickliness. Does not set fruit.

Named after Gaspard Monge, Comte de Peluz (9 May 1746 – 28 July 1818), a French mathematician.
