The bicoloured, high-centred blooms have 25–28 petals, creamy white with pink-tinged outer petals. The Ultimate Rose book (American Rose Society) states that ‘Garden Party’ has the ‘Peace’ colour. Flowers open from goblet-shaped buds, average 11 cm in diameter, and have a light lemon fragrance. Blooms many times in a season. May be susceptible to fungal diseases. Young shoots are red; the foliage is semi-glossy with a bluish cast.
