More information
Frontenac rose blooms range from light crimson to deep pink shades. At full opening, they display a central white eye, a whitish bloom on the petals, and dark stamens concentrated in the center. The petal edges are semi-wavy, and the form is slightly cup-shaped. The shrub forms a massed display during the first bloom cycle, when the plant is covered with flowers. Inflorescences bear clusters of 3–5 blooms, with flowering continuing almost without interruption until the frosts. Foliage is dark, glossy, and disease resistant; the shrub is dense and well-branched.
