More information

Both this cultivar and Lafayette are low-growing roses with foliage and flowers borne in clusters. The foliage is dark and glossy, and the cultivar produces carmine pink blossoms. It has been used for many years in Europe for low borders and beds and is still present in large parks and gardens. The cultivar shows disease resistance and winter hardiness; Frau Elsa Spath remains in cultivation.
