Florentina bears scarlet blooms with the classic hybrid tea form. Although the fragrance is weak, it is often grown for cutting. It is also planted in flowerbeds. The flowers are borne singly on tall, straight stems. The bush is upright, about 90 cm tall and 0.5 m wide. The leaves are large, olive-green at first, then darken. Florentina is a large-flowered rose variety.
