The variety Fire Princess is a miniature rose characterized by numerous orange-red flowers with a golden cast; over time, the shades intensify rather than fade. Flowers measure 3–4 cm in diameter, are double (25–30 petals), have a faint fragrance, and appear in small clusters of 3–5. This variety was bred by American breeder Ralph Moore in 1969.
The bush rose Fire Princess is compact, dense, and upright, reaching 30–45 cm in height. The foliage is dark green, glossy, with serrated edges. It blooms from mid-spring in repeated waves until mid-autumn. This variety is very susceptible to powdery mildew and black spot.
