More information
One of Meilland’s early landscape roses. It blooms in dense clusters of semi-double flowers in bright red to scarlet. A small white spot is present at the base of each bloom. Flowers appear in clusters of 5–15 across the entire surface of the shrub, followed by ripening scarlet hips. The shrub is spreading and prickly, growing mainly in width, and adapted to locations where it can extend over the ground. The foliage is small, dark, and glossy. Very disease-resistant. May be slightly affected by black spot in unfavorable conditions, without noticeable damage.
