This shrub is best classified as a very vigorous floribunda. Flowers of Feuerwerk appear singly at times, but more often in loose clusters of 3–7. The blooms are semi-double, with dense, wavy petals and are rain-resistant. On opening, they are orange or coral-pink, later fading to salmon-pink, with a pale zone around a tuft of golden stamens in the centre. Buds are long and slender. The bush is upright, branched, with large, pale green, glossy foliage. It blooms very abundantly and re-blooms quickly. The cultivar is widespread in public gardens throughout Europe and is also suitable for private gardens.
