More information
Fellowship is a floribunda suitable for group planting. Blooms are pale orange to dark apricot, with a slightly lighter reverse and more yellow toward the center. Petals are thick and wavy with slightly pointed tips, and the flowers are borne in clusters of 3–7. When just opening they are cup-shaped; as they open further they reveal the center and develop red-edged margins. Foliage is glossy.
Flowers are deep, radiant orange and show well in sun. They retain their color in heat and rain. Blooms are perfectly rounded, with inward-bent petals that cover the center. Flower diameter reaches 9 cm. Fragrance is spicy myrrh. Flowers appear in clusters of 5–7, and the blooming period is prolonged. The flowers cover the upper part of the bush. The shrub is compact, dense, and strong. It reaches 1.1 m in height and 75 cm in width. The variety is very hardy. It is resistant to diseases. Under unfavorable conditions it can be affected by powdery mildew and black spot, but usually not to a degree that harms the plant.
This floribunda forms elongated buds that open into double, cup-shaped flowers about 7–8 cm across, with wavy petals around golden stamens. Newly opened blooms are radiant orange, later fading to a rich peach color. Flowering starts in late spring or early summer and continues in waves through the season. Shoots are spiny, and the foliage is bright green and glossy. The bush is erect and spreading, 90–120 cm in height and about the same in width. Suitable for solitary or mass planting, and also used in borders, including combinations with bright yellow and purple flowers. It is virtually unaffected by disease.
