In English, the cultivar name Fair Play means "play by the rules, fair play". A shrub with arching, drooping branches, suitable for use as a groundcover. Maximum dimensions are 150 cm in height and 150 cm in width. Foliage is dark and glossy. Fuchsia-pink flowers with 9–16 petals and a white eye appear in inflorescences and have a light fragrance.
