More information
Classical bud. It is a fairly common cut-rose variety, most often seen in bouquets of imported roses. Recognized among cut-rose growers for bud form, post-cutting and transport stability, and long stems. Bred in 2004 and not yet widespread among Russian gardeners. Prefers slightly lower temperatures. English-language sources recommend growing at no more than 30 degrees so that flowers last longer on the bush. The color of Euro Red roses lies between dark burgundy, velvet, and burgundy-red. Flowers are double (about 50 petals). Buds are elongated and tall (10–12 cm). Flower diameter is about 10 cm. They have a light fragrance. Petals with a festooned edge. Shrubs about a metre high, erect, fast-growing. Foliage is bright green, glossy, large. Disease resistance is high. Frost resistance is average.
