More information

The blooms of Especially for You are intermediate between floribunda and hybrid tea roses—large, not heavily double, and usually borne in clusters. They are a soft yellow, with a darker reverse that fades at the edges, so the centre remains egg‑yellow while the outer petals approach cream. The inner petals stay curled around the centre and do not reveal the eye even when the outer petals open. The fragrance is strong. The plant is vigorous and upright, with large, dark foliage, and is quite thorny. It flowers freely and almost continuously.

Especially for You is notably fragrant. The bright yellow, mimosa‑toned double flowers have 25 petals; they are large, regular in form, and appear both singly and in clusters. The foliage is dark green with disease resistance, and flowering is abundant, including a second flush.
