More information
This hardy, robust Hybrid Tea rose is cultivated in many regions around the world. Esmeralda demonstrates strong health, marked vigour, and a noticeable fragrance. The flowers are large, with elongated buds whose petals curve downward as the bloom opens. The color is pink with a brighter edge, creating a two-tone effect across the petals. At the base, the petals are cream or white. Blooms usually appear singly, and occasionally in twos or threes, and they are suitable for cutting. Many features of Esmeralda are large—not only the flowers, but also the spikes and the large, healthy, dark, glossy foliage. The variety shows vigorous growth and is repeat-flowering.
