More information
A hardy, medium-sized cultivar with densely petaled pink blooms. The flowers are initially cup-shaped; later the outer petals reflex, revealing a central button. It flowers almost continuously through summer until the first frost. Blooms are produced in large clusters. The rose shows resistance to diseases and adverse weather. Even during prolonged rain, the blooms do not “pupate” and the petals drop cleanly. It forms a branching shrub about 120 cm tall and 100 cm wide; with light pruning it can grow taller. Suitable for a rose garden or for mixed plantings with perennials. The scent is warm, spicy, and reminiscent of old roses.
