Hybridised in 1860 by Lartay, the cultivar Enfant De France bears silver-pink blooms. Medium-sized, upright shrub with numerous prickles. Bloom form is a flat rosette with a central 'button' that is maintained throughout all stages of flowering. Petals are velvety, of moderate density. Foliage is dark green, matte, and shows high disease resistance.
