A Bourbon rose cultivar, introduced in 1862 by Jean Baptiste (Guillaud). The flowers are delicate pink to pale cream, fading to white in heat. They are cup-shaped, with numerous short petals. The bloom form resembles a chrysanthemum, hence it is often called a chrysanthemum rose. The fragrance is light. It cleanly drops its petals after blooming. Flowers appear in upright, lush clusters of 10–20. The bush is vigorous, with dark foliage.
