Blooms form a flat rosette in a soft pink shade with a slight apricot tint that intensifies toward the center. Pronounced tea and old-rose fragrance with notes of lemon and grapefruit. Upright bush habit with disease-resistant foliage. Flowers through the season.
The variety is named in honor of the bicentenary of the birth of the English writer and poet Emily Jane Brontë (1818–1848) — the middle of the three Brontë sisters, author of a number of poems and the novel “Wuthering Heights,” published in 1847, one year before her death at age 30.
