More information
Elle is a women’s magazine. The rose named in its honour bears the same title. Elle’s blooms show a combination of yellow, orange, and pink. The petals are pink with a creamy reverse; at first the whole bloom has a yellow cast, so it appears orange until the yellow begins to fade from the outer petals and pink becomes dominant. The blooms are large, strongly scented, very full, old-style in form. They appear singly, with occasional groups of 2–3 on long, strong shoots, suitable for cutting. The foliage is dark, glossy, and disease resistant.
