More information

Elizabeth of Glamis is a floribunda with abundant bloom and large flowers. The colour is bright salmon that fades to pink, with a consistently darker, smoky-salmon centre. Open blooms show a defined form with slightly wavy petals. They are produced in clusters of 3–7, held high above the foliage. The foliage is dense, dark green, and glossy; the bush is strong, compact, and well-branched. Suitable as a bed rose; performance increases with attentive care. Grows better in warm climates.

With salmon-coloured blooms that retain their form from bud to petal fall, Elisabeth of Glamis was the first floribunda to receive an RNRS fragrance award. The cultivar has shown declining vigour and irregular repeat-bloom without a clear cause. The foliage is olive green and glossy, with reddish young growth.
