Orange-red flowers show a pronounced blush along the petal edges; petals resist sun fading. Suited to Zone 7 and warmer.
The plant forms a bush producing long shoots with solitary flowers or small clusters, with a soft fragrance. Foliage is dark green, semi-matt. Requires high soil fertility and careful cultural practices. Disease resistance is average.
Originally introduced to specialists as Arturo Toscanini in 1970. Named after the Italian conductor.
