More information
Flowers of blood-red (red-orange) color are borne singly on very strong peduncles; each bloom lasts 3-4 weeks and is about 10 cm in diameter. Over time the color fades, and the petals are corrugated. Leaves are dark green with a reddish tinge. The bush is compact and abundantly flowering.
The rose is characterized by an unusual petal shape. The large, carved petals can be bright red, blood-red, or dark orange. At different stages of flowering, the color may shift by 1-2 tones toward darker or lighter shades. Sun exposure can sometimes produce a dark red, almost black dusting on the petals. Fragrance is weak. The bush has straight, even, thornless shoots; the absence of thorns facilitates cutting. The leaves are medium-sized, carved, and dark green.
