More information
A cut rose from David Austin’s line, it exhibits the classic form associated with old-fashioned roses. Effie has virtually no fragrance, which sets it apart from the recent cut rose Beatrice with similar colouring. The rose was first unveiled at the IPM Essen 2019 International Show in Germany. Its character and colour progress from cream buds to full, cup-shaped blooms in tangerine tones, opening into a large rosette edged with creamy outer petals; it carries a slight tea-rose note and shows shifting shades of orange, apricot, and yellow.
