‘Duchesse d'Auerstädt’ is a climbing Noisette and Tea rose discovered by Alexandre Bernaix in France in 1887 and introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons in 1894. The flowers are golden-yellow with lighter shading, have a moderate fragrance, up to about 35 petals, and an average diameter of about 12.7 cm. Blooms are large, very double, mostly solitary, cupped and scalloped, and appear in flushes throughout the growing season. The plant has medium-sized, climbing growth with large, glossy foliage, reaching about 305 to 610 cm in height and around 185 cm in width. It is suitable for USDA zones 7b through 10b and is described as very disease resistant.
