New from Weeks Roses. The rose is named in honour of American singer and actress Doris Day (born Doris Mary Ann von Kappelhoff), born in 1924. During her career, she appeared in more than 40 films and recorded 45 musical albums. Buds are pointed. Flowers are large, up to 12 cm in diameter, double (up to 50 petals), golden-yellow, with an old-fashioned form and a slightly ruffled appearance. The fragrance is strong, sweet-fruity, and spicy. Flowering is repeat. The foliage is glossy, dark green, and disease resistant. HMF.
