More information
Die Welt is a large hybrid tea rose with thick buds. The blooms are cream-yellow with salmon hues and vivid, deep pink edges, but as the cream colour is concentrated chiefly on the undersides of the petals, the overall effect is pink. Flowers are borne singly or in clusters of up to three; they open slowly and are used for cutting. The foliage is very large, glossy, bright green, and susceptible to powdery mildew. The shoots are thick and sturdy, and the bush is branched and upright.
