More information
Dick Clark is described as a chameleon rose, with each flower on a bush differing from the others. Spiral red-black buds open into large red flowers with a cream center combined with a cherry-pink shade, in a classic form. In sunlight, the petals take on the color of Burgundy wine; over time, the red hue intensifies until it reaches a dark red, burgundy tone. This rose has a cinnamon fragrance. The bush is upright and does not collapse; the leaves are large, dark green, and glossy. The variety is highly resistant to diseases. Blooms throughout the season. Winner of AARS 2011.
Weeks Roses claims that the biggest blooms of Dick Clark roses come in cooler climates.
