White to white blend; Tea Hybrid. Bred by Rob Somerfield (New Zealand), before 2008. Released in New Zealand by Glenavon Roses Ltd. in 2012 as ‘Diamond Design’. Cream-toned blooms with pink edges. 40 petals. Average bloom diameter 12 cm. Large, very double flowers of classic Tea Hybrid form with a high-centered profile. Medium-density, compact shrub, well-armed with prickles. Glossy, dark green foliage. Height up to 120 cm. Suitable for cutting.
Blooms are creamy white with a narrow pink stripe at the petal margin. The large, high-centered flowers have numerous, tightly packed petals, giving a vase life often two weeks or more. Produces many blooms relative to plant size. Foliage is deep green and glossy. The bush is medium in height and compact. Traditional Tea Hybrid forms are less common in contemporary breeding.
