Classic buds in light yellow with yellow-orange shades unfold into cupped flowers with a lemon-yellow center and a carmine rim on the outer petals. The flowers are moderately waved (about 22 petals), large, mostly solitary on shoots, but in the second flush there may be up to 4 per inflorescence. The bush has large, numerous thorns and dense, rigid, dark green, strongly glossy foliage. Flowering is profuse and nearly continuous throughout the season.
