More information
Winter hardiness, non-stop flowering, and colouring characterise Danse de Feu. In the USA the cultivar was renamed Spectacular. The scarlet colour fades to red over time, with white streaks on the inner petals near the centre. Flowers are semi-marginal and appear in small clusters, usually 5–7, very abundant in the first flowering, then much more modest through summer and autumn. The bush is strong-growing, with large prickles and large, shiny, dark green foliage, bronze when young. Bright red variegated colouring.
