More information
Concerto 94 produces large, lax clusters of blooms. The flowers are pale peach, with a pale yellow center and yellow petal reverses. At opening, the petals are often corrugated and overlap like shingles. The flower center is deep apricot. Blooms are carried in trusses of 5–9 against dark, glossy foliage. The plant shows disease resistance and is suitable for mixed borders and group plantings. As with many French roses, it is infrequently cultivated outside its country of origin.
Yellow, ochre-tinted buds open to many-petaled flowers reminiscent of small dahlias. Fully open blooms are pale yellow-cream with a light pink blush. Under the weight of the inflorescences, shoots droop, so additional space is advisable. The cultivar also has distinctly shaped and colored foliage. Bushes reach up to 1.0 m in height, spreading, with a voluminous crown, with abundant flowering and healthy growth. It is suited to various uses, and groups of 5–7 plants with a loose outline are recommended.
