The first miniature rose reported to have a true “pink” fragrance. Officially the variety is classified as white. In practice, the blooms shift color with conditions and often show a pink tint. Shoots are practically hairless.
When Cinderella was first introduced, it appeared so small that it was placed in a new rose class, the micromini. Flowers are produced almost continuously on a disease-resistant plant. Color varies with weather—pure white in hot conditions and china pink in cold conditions. The blooms have a silky luster. They are carried in long sprays of 5–20. Foliage is small, dark green, and disease resistant; the shoots are smooth and thornless. The plant forms a compact, upright shrub.
Compact miniature suitable for very small spaces. Very small oval, soft pink buds open to densely branched clusters of flowers less than 3 cm in diameter. On first opening the flowers are creamy pink (the pink is especially noticeable in cold weather), and the pink tones gradually fade. Light, spicy fragrance.
