Flowers are densely-mahogany (50–70 petals), rosette-shaped, “Gallic type,” in deep crimson, which with age become purple-burgundy, open, cup-shaped blooms. Blooms once in spring or summer. Height from 150 to 245 cm. Width from 150 to 245 cm. Shade-tolerant variety. Susceptible to powdery mildew.
