More information
This cultivar bears large flowers suitable for floral arrangements. The blooms are bowl-shaped, opening in various shades of apricot colour and later fading. The fragrance is strong, fresh, and fruity. For Charles Austin, it is recommended to cut back at least half of the height so the bush does not stretch out. The foliage is large. Does not always re-bloom.
One of David Austin's early varieties. Flowers appear in small clusters of 3–5 pcs on long shoots, and the centre is sometimes flat. The colour is soft orange, brighter at the base of the petals and almost creamy at the edges. Responds well to low pruning. Shows disease resistance.
Hardy; will survive in a range of suitable growing conditions.
A fairly erect bush to 1.5 m tall. The flowers are fragrant. It re-blooms, and David Austin notes that the variety should be stimulated by pruning and fertilising after the first bloom.
