This is a pink remontant hybrid. The flowers are medium in size, pink, with a darker underside of the petals; they are shaped into loose rosettes and they fade slightly with age. They usually appear in clusters of 3–5 blooms. Champion of the World develops a branched, loose bush with an open habit; in hot climates it can reach 2 m in height, while in cold climates it can be easily maintained by pruning to about 1 m. It is almost devoid of thorns and produces abundant bloom on the shrub. Almost thornless and repeatedly, profusely re-blooming.
