Flowers are straw yellow, often with a pink flush. They are very large, with thin petals. Blooms are susceptible to rain damage and shatter quickly in hot weather. Fragrance is medium; the bush is tall and well-branched.

Shrubs are vigorous (up to 90 cm), upright, with red-brown shoots. Flowering is moderate. Winter-hardy. Suitable for cutting.
