Shrub rose with the fragrance of old roses. Large double flowers, with stamens exposed at the end of bloom. Blossoms shift from pure pink to light pink, with the scent of old roses and myrrh. Inflorescences of 6 to 20 flowers, on sturdy stems with dark green, slightly glossy foliage bearing 5 to 7 leaflets. The plant flowers continuously from June until frost. Hips set in autumn; they are few and appear close to the last blooms. Caroline's Heart is suitable for borders with other plants, for hedges, or for pot culture.
