Candia debuted at Chelsea in 1982, while Meiyan did not introduce it until 1987. The variety is currently sold only in Canada, Israel, Australia, and Argentina. It is cultivated in both cold Canada and hot Israel. The flowers have a defined shape and colouration and are almost odourless. The foliage is large, dark green.
