Bush compact, with strong shoots, nearly thornless. Reaches 80–120 cm in height and about 80 cm in width. Foliage medium, dark green, with a glossy sheen. Flowers large, double (26–40 petals), cup-shaped. Twisted petals are arranged to show tonal nuances produced by the crimson‑pink upper surface of the petals and the contrasting golden‑white reverse. Fragrance is practically absent. Repeat‑flowering from June until the first frost. The variety is frost‑resistant and disease‑resistant. Calendar Girl is suitable for solitary planting, use in mixed borders, and container cultivation.
