Cabaret flowers have a white base with a broad red margin. Petal tips are dark pink, grading paler toward the center; the outer petals are bright red. Large, elongated buds open to flowers with strongly edged coloration and recurved petals. At full open, the petals become somewhat loose. Blooms appear singly, occasionally two or three per stem, on straight, rigid shoots. Used for cutting, with long persistence in water. Foliage is small and dark green.
