Pale pink, unbranched blooms with masses of pollen are frequently visited by bees. Each flower is 4 cm in diameter and practically scentless. Clusters with dozens of buds rise above matte green foliage. The first flush in early summer is followed by others, though less abundant. The shrub branches strongly and forms a dense carpet.
