More information

Classified within a new section of English roses; within this group it is comparable to Windrush. The flowers are large and buttercup-like. The shrub is large, with semi-branched growth; blooms are cup-shaped, medium-sized, dark yellow with darker stamens, and carry the fragrance of tea roses. The flowers appear at the ends of slender, erect shoots. Suitable for planting at the back of a border behind lower plants. Highly disease-resistant.

This rose bears creamy yellow, cup-shaped flowers gathered in dense clusters on long, upright stems. Newly opened blooms are darker, almost apricot, but they pale with time. Under the weight of the inflorescences, the branches droop, forming a spreading shrub suitable for a romantic border with shrubs and perennials. The flowers are semi-double, with a light, fresh fragrance.
