More information
Large bright-red semi-marginal flowers form inflorescences-haps and, throughout summer, are borne on tall bushes (up to 2.0–2.5 m). The cultivar became popular quickly; it flowers abundantly, has a light fragrance, dense decorative foliage, and high overall resistance. The ADR certificate (recognised German rose) also confirms the cultivar’s high winter hardiness. Burghausen is suitable for planting along fences and building walls. Single-cultivar group plantings are appropriate; in mixed borders the rose provides a bright background.
