More information
Garrett Fryer, the breeder of this Hybrid Tea rose cultivar, states that the name refers to a town on the Isle of Man and is unrelated to a wedding. Bride displays pale pink coloration and a noticeable fragrance. The reverse of the petals shows a slight apricot tone initially; as the blooms open, that tint fades and the flowers become uniformly pink. Flowers appear singly, occasionally in small clusters, borne on long shoots, making them suitable for cut-flower use. The rose is shown at exhibitions and rose shows. It produces numerous blooms and is cultivated in gardens and plantings. Foliage is large and dark; young growth is purple; the plant shows disease resistance. The flowers tolerate rain well, including under wet conditions.
