Floribunda.
Lilac-toned colour with dark veins and a lighter reverse. Strong fragrance of wild and damask roses, citrus, and fruit. Small to medium (4–5 cm), very double, cup-shaped flowers in inflorescences. Blooms in waves during the season.
Height 150–200 cm. Blue Tango is winter hardy and vigorous for a blue rose. Flowers tolerate full sun, with colour showing more clearly in partial shade. Vigorous habit with abundant, nearly continuous flowering; maintains healthy growth.
The name derives from Leroy Anderson’s instrumental Tango.
